Dredging International NV has contracted the services of Hidroproyectos to carry out the daily control of the maintenance dredging at the entrance of the Atlantic side of the Panama Canal executed for the ACP (Panama Canal Authority).
The project consisted of carrying out the maintenance dredging of the access in the Atlantic sector for the ACP and the service provided by Hidroproyectos consisted of carrying out daily bathymetric surveys with the Multibeam system, carrying out acquisition and processing. The data was verified with those acquired by ACP to verify that there were no differences between the measurements made by both companies. The service additionally allowed the dredger to work throughout the project with up-to-date information.
