«Hidroproyectos participated in the maintenance dredging project of the Panama Ports Company (PPC) dock and docks located in Balboa, Panama. Providing a comprehensive service of bathymetric studies before, during and after dredging.
Our company was in charge of carrying out bathymetric studies at all stages of the project. This included the collection of data prior to dredging and the delivery of results to evaluate the volume to be dredged, the control during dredging operations and the sending of the data to be able to update the dredging information in real time and the subsequent verification to guarantee the effectiveness of operations.
Hidroprojectos provided a turnkey service, making available highly trained personnel and specialized equipment, such as multibeam and single beam echo sounders, necessary to carry out all operations. This included the use of a survey boat especially suited to the project, ensuring accurate and detailed bathymetric data acquisition.
To ensure maximum positioning accuracy during operations, a base station was installed for positioning correction using a GPS-RTK system. This technology allowed exact georeferencing of each measurement point, ensuring the quality and precision of the data collected.
Hidroprojects was present at all stages of the project, from its beginning to its conclusion. This included coordination with the port for personnel entry, detailed review of points of interest, and installation and maintenance of the base station throughout the project.
